Each client is assigned a Screening Director who will begin the process by scheduling the dates, times and location for your event.
Your Screening Director will assist with communicating the event by providing customized flyers for inter-office distribution. The flyer outlines all the pertinent information needed as well as educational information about the risk factors, the importance of early detection and descriptions of the tests that will be provided. The flyer also describes how each participant can schedule their appointment. Other communication tools are available upon request.
Individual appointments are made by calling our appointment desk or can be made by using our user-friendly online scheduler. On the day before the appointment, participants will receive a phone call or email reminding them of their appointment.
On the day of the screening, prior to the exams, participants will be asked to fill out a one page registration form and provide proof of insurance (i.e. their insurance card). To expedite the registration process, participants can complete and print the registration form prior to their appointment time.
Upon completion of the screening, your Screening Director will provide you with an aggregate report summarizing the volume of participants and the findings. In accordance with HIPAA, the report will not contain identifiable information. Identifiable information about the patient will only be disclosed with the patient's written authorization.
Each participant will receive a written report signed by one of our board-certified physicians in the mail within 2-3 weeks of the scheduled screening. Although it is recommended that all participants share their results with their primary care physician, recommendations will be provided regarding which results require follow-up with a physician.
